Well, the best players are usually the starters, so it means something...we did pretty terribly when all of our starters on defense were injured last year, lol.

And I wasn't saying anything about where starters are drafted. Just that it's impressive that our guys stepped up, even if it was against a pretty miserable offense.

Battle of the offenses for sure...

DeMarcus Ware and Anthony Spencer are still out with injuries. They recently released former pro bowler Jay Ratliff as well but he's been damaged goods for a while. Their front seven, mainly their defensive line and pass rush used to be one of the best in the NFL and now it's considerably weaker as I type this. What are their plans moving forward? Facing a pretty good Eagles offensive line on Sunday. I hope they can generate any kind of pressure on Nick Foles.

How good have the Cowboys linebackers been? I haven't been following them closely. I know that middle linebacker Sean Lee is racking up a lot of tackles but he's not a sack guy. Maybe Bruce Carter, who has two sacks this year, will play more consistently now that he's a starter again.

I'm hoping the Cowboys can beat the Eagles. Should be a fun game to watch at 12 noontime.
Gives me something to enjoy until the Texans play the Chiefs at 3:25 in the later game.

Also isn't DeMarco Murray out? It's almost easier to list the players who are playing for the Cowboys.

the running game is what hurts us - we need consistent effort and play-calling for the ground game to help us control the clock and give our defense time to rest.

They're gonna ask way to much of Romo. They already put more pressure on him then basically any other QB in the league, especially with Murray out for a few weeks. It'll be a high-scoring game from both teams. And you can toss out records in divisional games. I can see us winning big, Eagles winning big, or either of us winning close.
