I highly doubt we'll be in position to get him next year. This team has been so close this year, they're much better than our 3-7 record says we are. A 2nd year in Doug's system and more talent should push this team into fighting for the weak Division next year. Should have been this year, but we just continue to shoot ourselves in the foot every week.
Yea paying the QB makes it difficult, but this is only Lawrence's 2nd year. We got at least 2 more seasons and a possible 5th year option on a cheap contract. The window is definitely there to take full advantage of it before we have to pay him the big $$$.
True that 5th year option gives them a good 3 year window while Lawrence is still on his rookie deal. I wish we had that 5th year with Hurts. The pay day is coming soon lol
Yea jags have lost a lot of one score games. That can easily flip in the following season. With Ridley, another year under Doug, and a draft class, they'll be better. Harrison is probably unrealistic lol
