I know :( lol

I forgot about this one. Almost all of my tracked topics were unsuscribed one day and I went back on google and tried to find the majority of them. A bunch expired and a bunch I couldn't remember/find.

A friend told me a few months ago or so that if you PM a mod you can get the thread(s) active again. Not 100% sure

Official Salary Cap space for all 32 teams – as of 5/26/13

*****

A couple of observations about the league as a whole and the NFC East clubs:

•The Raiders are in cap hell this year, but will be getting out of it soon.
•They're taking their medicine this year, to get healthy next year, and going forward in the future.

•The Giants are going to need to make a move or two to get fully under the cap by the time the regular season begins.
•Since the Top 51 rules apply, everything is fine now, but this won't last.
•This is just speculation on my part, but it makes TOO MUCH sense to cut Chris Snee the day after June 1st and gain $7,875,000 in cap room ($4,750,000 in cap savings sans dead money, and then another $3,125,000 in cap credits due to the leftover dead money amount of $6,250,000 being spread out over two years).

•I'd cut Snee, and sign the still available--and pretty damned good--Brandon Moore to play his position for a 2 year deal with a cap hit in 2013 and 2014 of around $1.5 to $1.75 M, unless of course Snee would be amenable to agreeing to that deal himself after being released after June 1st.
•This move would give the Giants the room they need under the cap to not only give Victor Cruz the contract that he wants, but give the Giants the room that they need to operate under the cap for the rest o f the offseason, going past the Top 51 rule and into the regular season without having to restructure deals for any more of their players to create added room, like Antrel Rolle, Justin Tuck, or Steve Weatherford, off the top of my head of viable restructuring candidates.

•The Eagles continue their pattern of being way over the cap, which figures with the owner in charge their and Howie Roseman (more of a money guy than a personnel guy) running the show there.

•Dallas renegotiated a SHIT LOAD of contracts to get the point where they are now, ranked 13th in the entire league in cap room, being $7,695,234 under it.
•The Cowflops are playing a fast and DANGEROUS fame, which will eventually come back to haunt them.
•They're playing (by they're I mean J.J. of course) "kick the can" with a lot of contracts on their team, and are basically a house of cards right now.

•As far as the Redksins are concerned, they're actually blessed to be where they are since the cap has saved the from their own stupidity in a sense.
•They can't go out and make their typical big splashes in free agency, simply because they don;t have the room.
•That'll change in a couple of years when RG3's rookie deal is up (provided of course they haven't run him ragged with whatever is left of his injured knee).

Eagles have always been great with cap space, that's why they were able to be a competitive team for 10+ years in an ear of football where so many teams struggle to even stay competitive for just 5 years straight.

Signing their own to team friendly contracts before they hit the market, etc. Even the huge FA splash they took part in a couple years ago didn't screw them they had it all rigged to be easy to escape from which it was (besides Nnamdi which was really the only wasted money).

Always good to see we have the cap space to make more moves though. Would be nice if we'd spend some though

Official Salary Cap space for all 32 teams – as of 6/09/13

• Compare the numbers below to those from 2 weeks ago, prior to the finalization of the post June 1st player cut transactions.
• Here is the link to look at: Official Salary Cap space for all 32 teams – as of 5/26/13 Optimus-NY : 10:29 am

• Look at how the Raiders went from being dead last 2 weeks ago to now being in the middle of the pack, being ranked 17th with a cap number of $7,857,320.
• The Steelers went from being ranked next to last, with a cap number of only $90,098, to now being ranked 21st with a cap number of $4,438,618.
• Miami went from being ranked 15th with a cap number of $7,249,298 to being ranked 7th today with a current cap number of $$17,766,997.

• Baltimore went from being ranked 28th with a cap number of $1,728,573 to being ranked 23rd today with a cap number of $3,658,573.
• San Diego went from being ranked 30th with a cap number of $145,848, to being ranked 27th today with a cap number of $3,127,666.
• The Titans went from being ranked 17th w/a cap number of $6,633,984, to now being ranked 12th w/a cap number of $9,690,646 after their release of long-time Center Eugene Amano who missed the 2012 season with a torn triceps muscle.

• Now, here are the figures for the rest of the league, starting in order of most cap space to least cap space:

.
.
.
•The Giants are going to need to make some more room under the cap (about $1 to $2 million bucks or so before the Top 51 Rule ceases at midnight EST on Thursday, September 5th.
•I have this info on my Giants cap blog as well, along with lots of other stuff, in case anyone is interested (see the link below).
•I wrote about this more in length there.
•I'm on twitter as well:

•Keep these numbers in mind when discussing the Vonta Leach and Desmond Bishop situations in free agency.

•The Giants' cap number will go down by roughly slightly less than 1 million dollars after the sign Justin Pugh, but not Ryan Nassib (Nassib's expected cap number won't fit into the top 51 cap numbers on the team).

•The Top 51 Rule is in effect until midnight NY time on Thursday, Sept. 5th; after team cap number calculations will include the 52nd and 53rd players on the roster along with the 8 man practice squad.

•The Eagles have plenty of room. No surprise there.

•The Redskins, conversely, have next to nothing in cap space (with only the Rams having less), and will need to make more space under the cap before the Top 51 Cap rule expires in 74 days on September 5th.

•The Cowboys look good now, but going forward they're in as bad shape as can be. They are a house of cards waiting to collapse. J.J. has no clue what he's doing down there w/respect to the cap, and it will cost them dearly as times goes on, even though most people don't understand why now.

Probably not much since everybody needs to have more clearance than what this actually says.
