Ya , I pay hella taxes man, about the average salary here for the average worker's wages. But when my parents bought this property they paid like $600 an acre. I bought it from them for $1000/ acre. Right now in a down market, property here goes between $3,000 and $3,500 per acre where I live, plus my parents bought it from the state back in 1981 and it has never been logged, probably$500,000 in lumber alone. Also I guide hunts here for deer, turkey and coyotes, and that pays a decent amount during those seasons, we also lease 100 acres to the neighbor to farm, so thats income also. I have had bad experiences in the past from rentals, lost money more than once, turned me off.

I work like 2-3 days a week, Im vice president of american naturals and manufacturing. We make stone based aquarium plants. I also am a medical marijuana caregiver and make some profits off that as well. We have a range, and yes I have guns. My favs are my old m-44 from world war 2 its a  7.62 x 54 cal sniper rifler with open adjustable sights, and my desert eagle semi auto 15 shot 50 cal hand gun with red dot and flashlight, mainly use it for home defense and targets  since it shreds game like a semi hit on the highway.
