I already gave my $.02 on this in that topic, but IMO akaantheezy wanted a reduction to 5k, he won the bet, and FFL paid him 5k.

Should have it been confirmed? Obviously.

But akaantheezy is the one that wanted the reduction in the first place, not FFL. I don't see how that's welching.

the guy asked for a reduction of the bet, if you really think he would have reduced this bet had his team have won you are a dumbass

then aka stated let me know if you want to lower, and actually gave FFL the option, therefore this was something that needed to be confirmed

not to mention this was done VIA pm, which is against the rules anyways, and should have been ignored...

Meh...I could see moving him from trusted to active maybe, but not putting him on the welcher list.

Also I'm confused by your first line. I think you were referring to the idea that FFL wouldn't have wanted a reduction if his team had won, but at the same time you could also guess that aka likely wouldn't have wanted to send the full 8k if his team had lost either.

IMO the whole thing is a fairly shady all around, and no matter what the outcome of the game was one of them was likely to make a post accusing the other.

exactly with one exception. no matter the outcome of the game it would have been Akaantheezy posting about it.

either way i think we have this sorted out and will update it as needed.

well rowdyboy had probably the only good idea out of this aka goes on the black list and FFL gets demoted from trusted to active

Unless LSU had won and aka only gave 5k, which is likely what would have happened.
