Michigan State played a 4-3. He had no experience in the 3-4. Hence never a 3-4 player.

Well, players like Wilfork played for a 4-3 in college, he plays NT for a 3-4.

How many colleges actually play a 3-4 to be honest?

I know Iowa doesn't, and Mike Daniels is a 3-4 DE now.

Eh. There's a difference in skill sets though. It was thought Worthy might be able to play the 3-4 due to his speed but was always said he was better suited to be a 3 tech

I don't see it, I mean he's going to play for another 3-4 team so we'll see how it pans out.

Was hoping he'd get back on the field and at least make an effort to make the team.

We'll see him midseason if he makes the team!

Would depend if they play a one or two gap 3-4. Packers play a 2 gap, which make him responsible for taking two blockers and limits opportunities to use his speed. If the Pats play a 1 gap, he'll have more opportunities to make plays. If they play a 2 gap, he won't look much better than he did in 2012.

Best for him and for us. Stash him on IR, see if he really can stay clean a year, give him time to adjust his life to Packer pace. Wasn't going to make the team anyways.

I think at this point, for him to get on IR he has to clear waivers. Don't remember what the cutoff date is.

Pretty sure he just has to make it to the final cut (not the final final 53) and they can put him on IR from there
