Unbelievable that they cut Beatty and Schwartz but kept Cruz...they're both bargains compared to Cruz.. Could have Beatty as a backup at his price and our cap space.. same for Schwartz.. But to cut them and keep Cruz is just retarded.
Our big free agents to resign are Brinkley, Ayers and Prince. Rest can walk all I care. I'd love to see JPP back too but he's going to ask too much and some team will give him a better offer because the Giants are cheap as fuck..and as we can see with Cruz they're stubborn as fuck with house money too. Just pathetic.
tbh all i care about is ayers jr. brinkley can be a solid 2 down mlb, but im not crazy about him, prince and jpp will cost us alot. prince played great before his injury, then was mediocre, and jpp just couldnt tackle anything last season. supposedly his hand will be alot better next year, but it is hard for me to be excited about him.
i think we will try to resign cruz to less money. while he does make too much for not playing in 2 years, he is also someone we cant replace if he's healthy. you know our coach wants him on the field with odb, and i do too.
would rly love to see us either draft or sign a big name safty and move collins to mlb tho. deone buccannon #2.

i expected us to keep beatty, i was surprised they let him go. i feel like his release means we will resign jpp tho. that money has to go somewhere.
hard to judge a rookie lt who had fucked up ankles all season. maybe if healthy he will be that 1/2 step faster and not need to necktie the d end every other play.
