after they break after the last set of drills at about 10:55am, they gather for a few words of encouragement and then bolt out the side exit for the mini-parade. i was unaware of this and had to sprint to see the middle of the procession. worth it obv

i know no one gives a shit but i wanted to share what i noticed from camp and from what i've been reading so far:

the starting TE job is Quarless' to lose and so far, Bostick and Rodgers are giving him a run for his money. Don't be surprised if Bostick starts Week 1

Lacy looks fucking monstrous. He was ravaging the first and second string D in the 2-minute drill and the red zone-short yard drills. if healthy, he will be a top 5 back no question

Rodgers to Nelson looks like it always has: pinpoint perfection. 39 million dollars worth of catches for us lucky fans over the next few years :)

Secondary has so much talent that we'll likely see A LOT of shuffling around of players... and that's a good thing. As we all know, there is strength in numbers and we need all the depth we can get on D. CBs and safeties still need a little work but simply having Hayward, Burnett and Shields all healthy at once is amazing. Hyde practiced with the 1st string D of course and it's his job to lose. Ha Ha is still pretty raw and was used on the 1st and 2nd string Ds and was also used to pressure the QB in mixed packages with both Hyde and Burnett on the field as well.

Hard to judge the D-line and LB corps but like the secondary, there is A LOT of talent to work with and getting the new scheme down is of top priority. Saw very little of Peppers and Raji but they both looked disruptive from what i saw. going to be tough to make roster cuts in these 2 departments. Loved watching Clay fly around and Neal get reps with the starting D. Thornton will have his say before the camp is done as well. Was hoping to see sum Perry but he was not suited up that day.

WR is a clusterfuck. Myles White is likely out of a job. His hands aren't good enough to crack the lineup that way, and his return skills are nonexistent. Abbrederis looked fantastic as did Boykin. Cobb will be fine in spite of having a couple communication issues with Rodgers/Flynn in a few of the redzone drills. Wanted to see some big plays out of 2nd round pick Davonte Adams but nothing about him really drew my attention away from the other players like i was expecting. Looked pretty pedestrian. REALLY wanted to see what DII prodigy Jeff Janis had to show but he wasn't suited up either :(

Special teams still looks like a weak spot for us. Returning punts was Myles White (lol pls), Cobbgod and Tramon. I was seriously wondering why a defensive and offensive starter were returning punts and then i watched White muff 3 in a row. :facepalm.jpg: The coverage unit looks mediocre like every year, sadly. Was expecting to see Abbrederis back there returning kicks but apparently he was more productive on the coverage unit because he never was sent back to receive a punt :(

Peppers is a massive, massive man and i had my eye looking for him just as much as i was checking on the rookies. He saw limited snaps but seemed to be in top form. he never lined up on the d-line though in any drill i saw... hopefully they put him in his natural position at least some of the time like was said initially.
