We need to solidify our defensive line, get our offensive line healthy and hopefully get someone like weddle

Biggest draft needs are clearly defensive line, guard, maybe a running back later on, a safety if we don't sign one, linebackers would be fine with kennard/casillas/unga. As long as we retain Prince, him DRC, collins and either a drafted or signed safety. O-line with beatty/pugh/richburg/x/flowers is also good as long as beatty is able to play at the level he used to. If beatty can't, left tackle is our biggest need as flowers is more of a right tackle. If everything works out and we retain beatty, sign a safety, we should go defensive line x2, guard, runningback, linebacker, reciever and possibly someone like cardale late in the draft in that order of priority

Yea and who's the guy dealing with personnel? You can't try to deflect the blame from coughlin but he's the one putting our young players in shit situations...he never gave Moore a chance. He had him on special teams..of course the kid is gonna be a nut job. He was a young talent that didn't see the field on a team where he was the only legitimate pass rusher...

And the shit with Collins and flowers this year...they've been the worst players at their positions all year because coughlin has them playing out of fucking position... Same thing with richburg last year... Something has been wrong with coughlin for a while now and it has been on show for us yet you can't fucking see it?

As far as free agency and draft..Bruce Irvin, Olivier Vernon and Muhammad Wilkerson are guys we should target heavily. Resign prince of course and see if we can't get jpp and Cruz back for the right price. No way can they continue to pay Cruz top money. Need a free safety which Collins is not despite coughlins continued playing him there, few in the draft but free agency would be the better option there. Should also target Alshon Jeffery. Add depth to the offensive line, draft a few linebackers and defensive backs and should have a solid team

Head coaches are essentially just overseers, mcadoo would be the one putting guys at spots, as well as spags on the defensive end. Coughlin chose those guys to control the defense and offense so obviously he retains part of the blame but its mostly on the coordinators and/or position coaches. As well, we need a head coach who has proven that they have the ability to assemble a team and win games, not another old-fashioned head coach. The game is changing and in order to stay competitive you have to change with it (panthers, seahawks, etc.)

That's not how coughlin does things...and most head coaches for that matter..if you think he allows the coordinators to make personnel decisions you're insane. Sure he accepts their opinions but at the end of the day it's him making those calls, especially in moore's case with the discipline issues..that's all coughlin. And coughlin is the reason we lose a lot of great players as well..look at will hill, best free safety in the NFL but no Giants are too goody goody to keep him..they pass on the guard Dallas got who could have played left tackle for us this year and let flowers play right tackle but no..he had off field issues and the Giants can't have that. That's all coughlin right there...the Giants pass on so much talent and it all stems from coughlin

A lot of that is maintaining the organizations image as one who doesn't tolerate that stuff. That stems from ownership as well as coughlin.
