I am comfortable to assume we will never have sanchez

Yeah, I don't think Dom wants that kind of money tied up in only 2 players, one of which would hopefully never start a down for us. It's basically increasing Revis' price to 23 million a year, since Sanchez would never see the field.

Agree i thin we bat rams this year.. but either way i say we have a good chance of going 9-7 or 10-6... what it depends on imo is if we get revis and is in probowl form we wijn 10-11 games if we have rookies we win 9-10...

So I've read Schiano may want to forgo the Revis deal. With what the jets are asking, I agree. 3 picks and 15 mil? Yeah I'd concur.
What I'd like to see is them possibly trade up to get a better cb prospect. The browns are hurting for picks this year. My guess is they traded for someone last year, and gave away a buncha picks. Perhaps we trade up to take their earlier pick. Would make more sense than giving away 3 picks, including your first rounder, and you clear up a ton of cap space. Perhaps pick up a WR and a LB from FA and get some more depth at those positions.

you do realize that since the bux won the super bowl in 2002, they have had only 4 winning seasons right?

out of all those losing seasons, 4 of those years were 5 wins or less

do you even NFL?

I hate this idea - we do not need to trade up, we need to stay where we are for a badass prospect or trade down for more picks - I think trading up for a CB is a terrible idea given the top 5 talent in CBs against lets say the top 5 in DT, or OL, or TE for instance. If we draft 4 corners in this draft, I will be happy.

Easy now, it's been a 4 year rebuilding process withan extra year for our QB going into that final year that will determine whether he's elite or not. And he will be.

And I became a Bucs fan through my mate who got me into the NFL. He's been watching the bucs since 1998 so that lucky bastard got in at the right time lol.

I didn't just homer into Bucs because my buddy was a fan, i watched without a team for most of the 07 season paying more attention to who the bucs were playing than them, but ultimately a pirate ship that fires shirts and beads at the audience and FINE ASS SOUTH FLORIDA COLLEGE CHEERLEADERS was far too awesome to ignore.

And i've always been defense inclined, and that bucs D

What does this have to do with me not following the Browns? lol
FYI I'm also a Steelers fan, the only team in the AFC North I pay attention to other than Pitt is Balt, and that's cause they're actual competition. I got into TB in 2000. Mostly cause their D was killer in NFL Gameday 2k, and it made it impossible to score on me lol. Shit just clicked from there.

@Bob Def is the reason I like TB. Being raised a Steelers fan, it was a logical choice. They're NFC, a couple thousand miles away. No conflict with my family that's all Pitt. Back in the day man, ya had the obv guys Sapp, Barber, and Brooks, but the rest of the def was loaded too. Brian Kelly, Hardy Nickerson, Upshaw ect.
And ofc John Lynch. He's probably my fav from that defense cause he once broke Warren Sapp's hand during a blitz xD

I have watched the superbowl D, but i've never been able to find the full 2002 season, or just the playoff matches :( I really really wanna see what a game was like with that D. Ahh well - With McCoy and Larry, we are on our way to somewhat replicating it :D
