Okay man...he’s pretty bad and jags will be drafting a qb or trying to lure cousins. Don’t be ridiculous

I agree with you jags defense is insane and they’re undercutting it. And I was a huge hater earlier in the season, but your quarterback is a liability

he's better than Peyton Manning per Hako

51 times for Bortles cannot happen. At that point the coach is making him fail
Wtf lmao
As I stated, haven't watched much Jags at all, so I can't even judge Bortles this season. But I am aware of his past ofc
But with a defense like that, all you're asking from the guy is to be solid. Surely capable...

He only threw it that much because Fournette had like 33 rushing yards on 17 carries. They completely stuff our running game. It literally looked like we were running into a brick wall at times.

That's the only reason why Bortles threw it that many times. Otherwise they'd be forcing him to try and make plays on 3rd and 7+ every single Offensive possession and that never works. It's hard for the greatest QBs to constantly make 3rd and longs, over and over and over, let alone Bortles lol. They realized the run game wasn't working and adjusted.

We'll see. If he's willing to play for less than he could make elsewhere, than it's possible we keep him, especially if he continues to improve. He's been underwhelming to me this year, and while he's had some big moments, his consistency needs to get better.

I mean he (Brandin) would probably agree with you there because he seems like a very humble guy but he is top 5 in the NFL in receiving yards and he's on pace for 1k yards easily, that's pretty damn good. When you have as many yards as Julio Jones you're doing pretty well, especially on a new team. Only AB84, Hopkins & Thielen have more receiving yards. I would love to see him in New England long term.

pretty surprised on your take here. i can't remember the last time we had a deep ball threat! (moss?)

if theres anything to criticize here, i feel like its a lack of targets from either playcalling or brady, whoever is to blame there.

i've seen him make some incredible catches, he draws double coverage, its pretty much opening up our short pass offense with the threat of a deep ball, im lovin it!

We don't have our #1 receiver right now, and Gronk hasn't been performing as well as usual. It puts a lot of weight on Cooks' shoulders, but he was brought in to be our #1, and an actual deep threat. He's done good, and he's made some game saving good catches, buy he's had some crucial drops, lazy route running, bad blocking etc.. during crucial times as well.

I agree with you Zig that he hasn't got as much attention as I'd like, but I'd rather Brady spread the ball around, vs him giving up ints by forcing the ball to Cooks.

Like I said, he's had some huge moments for us, but he's also cost us a 1st down a couple of different times at important moments, and those are the moments that I'm missing Edelman the most. I want Brady to feel like he can ALWAYS go to Cooks when he draws 1:1 coverage on 3rd down, and I don't feel like that trust is there yet, but it could be. It seems as though he's improving, and I'm excited for the prospect of us actually having a real deep threat for Brady's final years. You know me, I'm always pessimistic lol. He could be better :P

that's a fair assessment. though Edelman has had years working with Brady, cooks is new to the system, as long as he continues to improve and get on the same page with brady he could be very special in years to come.

Cooks' had a few cringeworthy drops, but edelman has too throughout the years. Edelman's more versatile, more physical, better in the slot, probably a better blocker than Cooks, But Cooks is by far more talented as a deep threat. My point being is I think Cooks has had a fine year so far, I'm not disappointed by any means. Could he be better? probably a little sure but he's lived up to my expectations.

and if Cooks is always drawing 1:1 coverage on 3rd down opposing defenses are doing something wrong haha, but i get your point.
