This Defense is the real deal. It has play makers at every level.
It's all going to depend on the Offense though. Bortles has to keep playing solid football and limit the mistakes.
The OL has to get healthy (it's been doing ok with patch work atm) and the run game has to stay strong. As long Bortles doesn't have a break down and throw 2 pick sixes, or the Special Teams doesn't have another blunder and give up 17 points like they did vs the Rams. This Defense will absolutely keep us in every game.
Edit: We're currently #3 in the AFC and I'd agree with that. Pats and Steelers being ahead of us of course.
You don't just put numbers up like that. Ofc they are for real.
You said it yourself, your QB might even be harming your defense at times. Still that good...
Limit that -- watch out

The reason I disagree with that statement is because those AFC games are going to be at home. Since 2007, Brady is 53-2 when hosting AFC teams (one of those losses was a week 17 game resting starters). Overall in his career, he's 17-3 at home in the playoffs. His ability to win at home is so obscene, it's a wonder that he hasn't been suspected of trying to cheat or something.
If the Pats drop a few games and end up with a lower seed than the Jaguars, then we can start talking about being worried. If it were possible to play them at a neutral site, then it would be a conversation. But the way things are currently set up, worrying about losing at home to the Jags is as silly as worrying that the '07 team could lose to a mediocre Giants team.
If you keep rolling d20s, you are eventually going to roll a 1. But it's silly to actively worry about it.
That's exactly it.
@home, I seriously don't fear any team. Call it cocky, but I don't see a reason to..please don't bring up Ravens, Jets etc...I know we've lost before lol

A game away in the playoffs to me can go either way any day. I don't care who is on the field
SPECIFICALLY if the home team has a secondary and a pass rush...communication is almost impossible at times come playoffs
That was a huge factor in Denver
That place is fucking LOUD
