Im with you it would be a good fit, and hes a hell of a pass rusher, but brian is right... Patricia doesnt incorporate much pass rush into his scheme. Clowney would flounder under patricia. As it stands right now it'd just be a waste of money and a roster spot for the team, and itd be a waste of clowneys time and potential.

Yeah I mean I understand it doesn’t really fit with Patricia’s typical defensive scheme but if you have a chance to sign an impact player like Clowney you adapt your scheme to fit his skill set right? His scheme doesn’t seem to be working anyway so this would be an opportunity to adapt it and make changes.

who? Golden Tate? he has an okay year, nothing close to what he was doing when he was with us.
His worst year in detroit he had 813 yards and 6 tds in 16 games, in his 11 games with the giants last year he had 676 yards and 6tds, so about a little bit better than his worst year on the lions if you account for the games he missed cuz of his stupid ass suspension.
In 7 games in 2018 he was on pace for a career best year before we traded him, 517 yards and 3 tds, after we traded him he only put up 278 yards and 1 td. If we kept him he was on track to have ~1200 yards and ~7 td's. His best year came in 2014 when he put up 1300 yards but was held to 4 tds.
I miss him lol.

or if you are referring to Snacks Harrison, his season last year was dog shit lol worst of his career, he had almost identical stats last year through 15 games than he did the season before in the 10 games he played after we traded for him
