sure, but until recently, we still had the notion that he would be coming back. similar to Nick Collins and how we assumed he would be back the next season until the doctors advised him otherwise. last years injury becomes this years retirement

Bummer for Franklin. Though it was another major steal where we got him last year in the draft, but alas, another neck injury ends another Packer's career :/ Absolutely ridiculous. I mean he was probably never going to be a huge impact player on our team, but it's still total b.s. the way we keep losing guys.
