Jacksonville has 29 yards rushing. Colts had 250+. The defense literally got ran off the field, Brisket didn’t have to do anything. So dumb to think Minshew would have been any better than Foles today.
I know exactly what happened lol... I watched every snap of that shit show.. They had two different RBs rush for over 100 yards for the first time in franchise history. Mack broke his hand and didn't even play in the 2nd half and still had over 100 yards. etc etc. All 3 phases were trash today, even Lambo missed a FG and that dude is as clutch as it gets.
Foles was missing throws left and right. He under threw so many passes today. He should of had at least 4 INT today as well, not just 2. He makes the OL look even worse than usual because he can't extend plays.
Don't let Foles stat line fool you. Besides the 1st or 2nd drive of the game, which we got our TD on, he looked like complete trash. He short armed a throw into double coverage for a awful INT towards the end of the first half. He helped lead this Offense to 8 or 9 straight scoreless possessions today. Everything else he did besides that first scoring drive was all in garbage time.
They only ran the ball 9 times because there were so many 3/4 and outs.. They got behind in the score and were forced to throw it. I think they went away from the run a little too soon, but the play calling has been very questionable at times this season.
The Defense got warn down and quit. They beat us up in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Foles doesn't bring any energy out there. The whole team just looked dead, all while coming off a Bye week.
Everybody talked about how Foles was suppose to make this team better, because he's suppose to be good, yet they played the worst game of the season with him as the QB, with two weeks to prepare, against a team that was beat up injury wise entering the game.
Maybe Minshew would have did better, maybe he wouldn't, but at least he's fun to watch. Foles is both boring and bad. He's a career back up for a reason. He is who he is and that's not any good. His ceiling is already reached.
But obviously he'll stay as the starter for next week. He better have a complete 180 of a game next Sunday, or else the kid needs to go back in. If we're going to just lose games regardless, it might as well be with a rookie learning and gaining experience from playing. Foles certainly isn't the future, but maybe Minshew could be. We can't find that out with him sitting on the bench.
