Hypothetical: Would you rather play Minnesota or Philly in the superbowl? tough choice because Minnesota has homefield, also I think Zimmer is miles ahead as a HC than Pederson.

I'd take Minnesota 10/10 times over Philly.

Minnesota knows how good we are, and they respect that. I don't think Philly respects us one god damn bit lol. They'd be the team trying to fucking prove something, and they'd win. At least, I think they'd win if we played eachother tomorrow in the big game. We'll see where we're both at come playoffs and if that opinion has changed, but right now, I don't want anything to do with Philly.

I think GB/Ravens are our only hope. I don't see any of the other teams challenging them. Hopefully we slap them, like we always do, but it's w/e. With how awesome NE has been on the road this year, I'm not too worried about having the #1 seed. Of course I want it, but I don't think it's necessary for us to make a run.

I could totally see them losing too the Ravens; the Ravens are still alive for a WC spot and they have a good defense (offense is lol though). I don't see them losing to GB but we'll see. #1 seed is not necessary but it's definitely preferable, rather would play a AFCCG in Gillette than anywhere obviously.

I don't want to play either in the superbowl lol, just curious your opinion. Philly is obviously a better team but homefield super bowl for Minnesota would be no doubt a slight advantage for them.

Obviously.

None of the good AFC teams (beside KC ofc) have stadiums that scare me tbh. I feel like we could walk into any of them, and it wouldn't be that big of a disadvantage for us. I'm excited to see us turning it around though. These last two weeks, we've finally looked like the fucking 16-0 Patriots people thought we could be at the start of the season. It's been embarrassing how close some of these games against mediocre teams have been. At least we're not losing, but still, we need to fucking dominate,

Has any team got to play in the SB at their own stadium? Just seems like it would set itself up for failure. Also, NE fans are fucking crazy. I wouldn't be surprised if we had 40% of the stands, even against the Vikings

No, and most people that attend the SB don't really give a shit about either team. NE might be an exception because of the widespread bandwagon for the last decade and a half, but most are people that just have the money to go to an event like that. Seriously. Go look up how expensive a SB package is now. And most of the time, the tickets have to be acquired with a package. It's nuts

/e

I can't read. But these 2 teams got pretty fucking close. I've never actually heard anyone say this:

Only two NFL teams have reached the Super Bowl hosted in their home market: the San Francisco 49ers, who played Super Bowl XIX in Stanford Stadium, rather than Candlestick Park, and the Los Angeles Rams, who played Super Bowl XIV in the Rose Bowl, rather than the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

that's a good question, I can't think of any recently but I'm sure it probably has happened once? idk, could be wrong. I wonder how ticket distribution would work... would it be like any other game? or would Minnestoteans (or whatever they're called lmao) have an advantage at getting tickets to try to stack their fans in their favor?

I check every year man. I know how fucking impossible stupid it is for regular people. It sucks knowing that when I finally do have 10 gs to drop on going one year, it'll be WAY post NE's era of dominance. I'm just hoping they make it back before I'm too old to go, but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't

wtf, why! haha, I hope the steelers lose a few games before I don't want that (Pitts vs NE) game to be a meaningful one lol.

Because I really enjoy the "extra hype" around those type of match ups
HUGE game, but bigger for Pitt, no?

Here is your chance @ home to pretty much clinch the 1st seed + prove you can take us down come playoff time
But you take a tough loss @ Heinz -- realizing Brady just can't be stop

good luck @ Gillette vs. GOAT

Idk, I just feel it makes the win/loss mean more

It does, but I also hate how much of a nervous fucking wreck it makes me. You should see me fucking pacing back and forth like an insane person during close games. I need to figure out how to tone it down, but as of now, I care wayyy too fucking much about football.
