Hopefully the packers come out of the buy playing with some purpose... i feel like being on top isn't good for them, they played there best football last year when they were facing elimination, and the same is holding true in game... when they get behind, they can rain on points in a hurry, but when they are on top, nothing happens.

Partly, McCarthy calls conservatively and when they are on top the defense is playing prevent basically so the coaches are limited because they are calling Conservatively

Exactly. Rodgers and McCarthy aren't going to try and run up the score, but at the same time I'm sure they're not happy with yesterday. This team has the ability to score from anywhere, at any point. Not many teams can say that. If you're up, and you go score in 2 minutes, your defense has to go right back out on the field. The best way to keep an offense from scoring is to keep them off the field.

Crosby set the record with that 58 yarder, or rather broke his own record of 56 in Atlanta two weeks ago, and Philly in Week 1 last season. Pretty crazy that one guy has the top 3 field goals in the franchise's history. Also a little odd that Longwell was one of the best in the game with the Packers and when he left we ended up another top kicker. Same situation at Safety, Quarterback, and Kicker. Sharper, Favre, and Longwell. Mr. Wilf, please continue this trend.

Collins doesn't expect to know for a few more months whether or not he'll be able to play again.

Woodson recorded his 7th multi-interception game. Not sure where this ranks all time, having a hard time finding a list. It does put him at 52 total though, tied for 25th on the all time list.

but the problem is they arent moving the ball enough to keep the defense off of the field still, im not saying dont run, im just saying a better balance even at the end when ur up is necessary to prevent comebacks, and with rodgers completion percentage 3/4ths of the time the clocks gonna keep moving anyways... I'm just saying dont mess with success, if it got you the lead, it can keep the lead

Mason Crosby named NFC Special Teams player of the week for his 4-4 performance.

Aaron Rodgers nominated for the FedEx Air player of the week again. If he wins, it would make him the first player to achieve it four straight weeks. Although he finished with a higher QB Rating this week than Brees, I really can't imagine him beating the 5 TD pass performance (especially since Brees was pulled).

Morgan Burnett has now played/started in 11 games. The Packers are 10-1 in those games. There's a video of LeRoy Butler talking about the current Packers on CheeseHead TV, but I can't get it to load atm. Wondering if he discusses Burnett at all. Butler was definitely my favorite Packer growing up, and I still love his story.

Tramon is playing way to overly agressive, been burnt a lot on big plays along with the fact on most of them plays the saftey also is getting burnt. Either way he's not playing to the level he was last year but that may change, who knows I guess.
