Epenesa would be great, gross-matos wouldnt be bad either, but i think hes too close to Trey Flowers in terms of play-style. We could get JT tomorrow but likely would have to draft him right away, i dont think the bengals or the colts take him, but someone surely will. We might be picking from Swift or Dobbins (likely dobbins if any) in the 3rd. Any of those 3 rbs though would make a nice 1-2 punch with Kerryon. JT is probably the best option though.

Honestly if we picked JT, he could become our top back, and kerryon might be change of pace guy. Idk, it'll be interesting, but the i think the vitrol would be real strong from most lions fans if we did pick an rb in round 2 or 3 lmao

Yeah JT is gonna be a stud I think. It would really transform our offense to have a consistent run threat - obviously our lines need work but I don’t know if I’d be too mad about grabbing a RB this round. D’Andre Swift would even be a nice choice tbh

I don’t think you trade up to draft a QB in the first if you intend for him to be a back up - they may have been doing it to send a message but that’s a costly message to send if that’s the sole purpose. They picked him to groom him to take over for Rodgers. The interesting thing is you would imagine Rodgers thinks he’s got more than a few years left in the tank.

I think they traded up to get him in the first to have the 5th year option on his contract. It looks to me like they plan on him being the man sooner or later

Their original pick was a 1st though, unless they thought one of Phins, Titans, Ravens, or Seahawks we’re gonna snag him, or that another team might trade up to take him

Yeah, the packers totally fucked that up. Its not the issue that they drafted QB, its that they traded up for a QB when none of the teams they jumped wouldve taken a QB.

Phins just drafted Tua, Titans are all in on tannehill, ravens and seahawks obv are set at qb for the foreseeable future lol. It was a pointless trade up, cost them a 4th round pick for literally no reason.

The only team that mightve been able to trade up for a qb wouldve been the Colts, but they can wait til 2nd round, maybe even 3rd. Hurts and Fromm are still on the board, and should be in the 3rd round as well.
