FOXBORO -- Bill Belichick is locked in on the Broncos.
On Wednesday at his weekly press conference, Belichick was asked if his goal is to retire with Tom Brady still serving as his starting quarterback following the trade of Jimmy Garoppolo last week?
“Yeah, goal right now is to beat Denver," he said.
The reporter then asked about an upcoming 30 for 30 film featuring Belichick and Bill Parcells and who "has been better at putting the media in its place," Belichick or Parcells?
“Denver is the target this week," he said. "I know there’s all the other stuff on your mind, but right now I am just focused on Denver. Sorry, we can’t connect on that.”
Based on the tone of Belichick to these questions and throughout the entire press conference, the coach is laser-focused on preparing for the Broncos Sunday night.
