Both feel "training wheels" need to come off of this new offense so to speak. Need to score points in this league.
Coughlin likes what Randle has been doing, EXPECTS to see more.
Reese would like to see Williams improve on reading his blocks. Can't just take the ball and crash into the line. Was doing this better in pre-season, needs to get back to that.
Coughlin and Reese both complimented Prince on his play through 7 games. Played Dez really well outside of one play in which he gambled and lost (when Bryant got down to the 1 yard line).
Reese said JPP is back and playing at an extremely high level. Mentioned how those around him need to take advantage of matchups created by the attention JPP requires.
Both feel very comfortable with McCLain stepping in for Beason. No surprise here as this has already played out over the course of the first half.
Both taking the "9 game season" approach. Reese feels the division will tighten before all is said and done. TC says message is to play above the X's and O's.
Training wheels need to come off? No these morons need to stop overthinking things. If the run doesn't work YOU PASS. Your quarterback is good enough to not need a run-game to produce points. Passing will soften up the defense and allow them to run.
They better fucking do the right thing with the offensive line and with Kennard. Richburg to center and Schwartz to LG or RT moving Pugh to LG. And Kennard better play OLB or MLB if they plan on keeping him there next year? Said in the paper Kennard was gonna play inside backer?
I swear the Giants are all kinds of fucked up with their personnel.
