Lol you're actually right. Could have sworn it was a torn ACL, funny how no one else caught that until now :P .

What's the odds with Achilles, like 2/3rds of players come back from it?

Not that it really matters, almost the same injury when it comes to what you can/can't do, only big difference is an Achilles tear usually don't require surgery.

Back to topic though.

Wilfork has no money on the table and he gets like 11.5 if he comes back. I don't want to lose him, I just think it's in the best interest of the team if we do. Same with the stupid Edelman v Amendola thing, we don't need two slot receivers and Amendola has guaranteed money. I really hope Edelman will stay on at a reasonable price, I feel like Amendola will just go down early in the year again and then we will be fucked.

Blount will be the same situation, all depends on what he's asking for. We're stacked to fuck on RB and if he wants too much they are going to cut him without hesitancy.

“I can’t tell you what the body’s going to tell me when I take the field,” he said. “Maybe the body is going to say, ‘You know what, Vince, it is enough.’ If it do that, I’m going to have to listen to my body. If it’s up to me, I’m playing.I can’t leave the game like this. I can’t.

That's the reason I don't see him retiring, he has so much heart it'd kill me to see him go like that. I've got no clue if they want to offer him or not, probably need to see his off-season workouts before they make a move.

The WR situation is so fucked.. like I don't know if they're gonna try and get a FA in here or what.. I just know if we have both Edelman and Amendola to start the season next year i'd lose my mind.
I'd rather keep Amendola just because I feel like his ceiling is so much higher, plus he played most of this year on a destroyed groin.. I'm so scared he's gonna get hurt again though.

Yeah I agree with Blount, he had a few good games to finish the season but overpaying for someone like that is something we'd never do. If he wants to stay and takes a deal i think they'll do it and let Ridley walk..

Then again who even knows what Ridleys price is after this awful year.. gonna be an interesting off-season that's for sure.

Not a chance we can let Talib go either he just makes everyone around him so much better.. if the defense stays healthy, next year this will be a top 5 defense. A lot of young talent on the core of this defense/

I just know that Wilfork loves NE and I remember that quote about him not going out like this. It's just a matter of whether or not he's willing to play anywhere else, I don't think we can justify keeping him this year. Amendola does have a higher ceiling, I have no doubt about that. The guy is just injury prone to all hell and a slot has got to be fucking tough. Edelman filled in for Welker perfectly, he could make the difficult catches and keep hopping back up after hard ass hits.

100% agree on the defense, we looked amazing at the start of the year and then we got fucked into oblivion by injuries. Should be a good year for us defensively, especially with Collins making himself known. That guy has some serious talent.

I'm just really nervous from here on out to be honest. The whole team is up in the air and anything could happen. Losing the few bright offensive stars we had from last season is definitely a scary situation to be in.

Hoping for nicks to be honest. I think he would do fairly well with us.

Yeah Collins is probably the most athletic dude on the field at all times. Started as a QB, moved to Safety, got too big for safety so they played him at LB. Guy just kept getting bigger and bigger lol.

In the past few days, the Patriots have lost offensive line coach Dante Scarneccia, tight ends coach George Godsey, and linebackers coach Pepper Johnson... Now we might be losing Caserio.. I don't get why everyone is leaving but it's starting to get me really nervous.

Whatever, In Bill we trust right?

In BB we trust and we always will. It will be a sad day for NE when he finally steps away from coaching, that will probably be the hardest day for any NE fan.
