we definitely flipped him for a profit for sure, only way it backfires is if Brady gets (seriously) injured.
I wonder who we're going to bring in...
Even if Brady goes down
Asking Jimmy G to come in and win a superbowl is a dream, not realistic. Id feel the same with Hoyer back there.....
Again, he wasn't going to get re-signed, so a 2nd is awesome

You’ll take it ?
Cleveland offered a 1st rounder during the offseason
Edit/ Ian rapport just reported that Cleveland offered a 2nd not first
Lol so many people keep saying this
If it were true, Jimmy G would of been a Brown

After thinking it over, here's my conclusion:
Before the season, there may have been a reason to hang on to Jimmy. It would have made sense to think that if Brady got injured, that team may have been able to salvage a decent season as they did with Cassell.
But now that Hightower and Edelman are lost for the season, it wouldn't even matter. The team's going nowhere if Brady goes down. The only way Jimmy could have made a difference in this season would have been if Brady has some really short term injury that made him miss a game or less. So the Pats might as well take the free pick.
Going into the season worried about your superbowl MVP? Biggest waste of time by BB -- I hope that's not why we kept him
I believe we kept him because Patriots believed they could try and get him to sign some shitty contract
And I agree. W/o hightower and Edelman, hope for the best. Those are 2 MAJOR injuries -- and at any moment anyone else can go down
No need to worry bout Butler being traded since Gilmore hasn't shown anything
As for the 2nd, i'd be shocked if we got a decent pass rusher for it
