the story i read on smith was that he had surgery a few seasons ago, and hadnt come back into form at philly and st louis. but if he does, then he'll def have that no. 3 spot. he did have 1400 yards 3 seasons ago. if he can get back into shape, him and vjax may both put up 1k yards, opening up the field for each other, perhaps williams as well... or so im hoping.

Not a fuckin chance - forgotten about a lil black man called Mike Williams? There is no way Smith is gonna take over the #2 position. Steve Smith, like Tiquan Underwood, will be lucky for whatever few balls are thrown their way.

I did mention Williams, and I said he'd be the no2 receiver, getting more catches than Smith. However, I don't see williams as a dynamic YAC player. I think Williams will make more of the corner of the end zone, and 3rd down conversion type of plays, which imo are more important than big yards. I just think that Smith, if he gets the no 3 spot, will get more yards this season than Williams.
The difference between the two, besides like 5 inches lmao, is Smith has shown he can put up big numbers w/o being a no 1 guy. Shows heart if you ask me.

/e Forgot about Underwood. He needs to get his shit straight. He missed several passes inside the five, or for a TD cause he fucked up his route. I dunno why that is, but Schiano doesn't seem to be a guy to be patient with mistakes.

I'm just not sure about that - Smith is 28, MiWills is what, 23? 24? He had a good year last year, another 4 yards and he's one of the rare 1000 yard receivers from last year. I would actually rather see Ogletree in the slot more often than Smith, but thats only from what i've seen (which isn't much)

Perhaps Mike Williams numbers drop a bit, but I have no faith at all in anyone other than Vjax having more receiving yards than MW.

The other guys are "The help" - Mike Williams is the 2

I am very excited for this team in year 2 of new coaching regime :D

So do I. It was very promising last season until we lost 2 of our corners. Once that happened, we couldn't stop people from going down the field whenever they wanted.

Btw, MiWills... rofl did you come up with that yourself? That's excellent

My favorites are the ones for Doug Martin. First you have the obvious Muscle Hamster, but then you have another... When he was telling reporters he hated the hamster nickname, they asked him what he wanted to be called, and he said "I dunno, like, T-Rex Something." So I've been calling him T-Rex Something ever since. :)

Freeman has some really good ones... F5, Free, Freesus, and Raheem kept calling him Tito Jackson when he was first drafted.

#1 Martin nickname is Douggernaut

Vjax is Vjax

Freeman is Mr. Inconsistent

Mike Williams is like the 3rd Mike Williams in the NFL since 2000 so i'm still trying to figure out which one he is
