Watched te game again on my tv specifically Holmes. He seemed to loss his assignment twice and got over powered once, also missed the block on Harrison when he blitzed.... He basically tackled sjax. Pass protection wise he seems to be above average... His run blocking on the other hand needs to get much much better. He did look good on one play when he got to the second level but other than that seemed to struggle. Reynolds had his troubles... Blalock also whiffed on a guy. Sam and Knoz played well. The group seems to be in a wack in general.... I think this is due to chemistry and they just need to jell after that though the group should be fine pending Holmes run blocking ability.

Hard to predict this year especially after that preseason disaster. We have a tough schedule, and need to fix our o-line before we start talking records.



We could use a surprise presence on that d-line this year.

Saints - division game, anything could happen
Rams - should be easy win, secondary is looking good with Janoris/Finnegan
Dolphins - New look, tons new faces, who knows.. could be the blood they want
Patriots - .. well, it's the Patriots
Jets - should be easy
Bucs - same as Saints, imo more difficult
Cards - same as Dolphins.. lots good new players
Panthers - same as Bucs
Seahawks - formidable opponent
Bucs - same x2
Saints - same x2
Bills - should be easy, who knows what Manuel does
Packers - formidable opponent
Redskins - RG3 needs to be taken out, we can't handle the mobility
49ers - formidable opponent
Panthers - same x2

Take out the 6 division games

Seahawks
Packers
Patriots

Those are 4 of the very best teams in the NFL. I also like the Dolphins/Rams this year to make some noise.

I do not see us repeating a 13-3 record.

I like the Cardinals too

We could have arguably lost vs the Redskins and Cardinals last year.. so who knows. I will be happy with a 10-6 record as long as we get in the playoffs.

We will definitely be battle tested if we get there.
