Chad Johnson is saying on the NFL Network he wants to play for the Texans. He has spoken with Andre Johnson in recent days.

LOL, inb4 Andre Johnson recruits Chad Johnson and convinces Rick Smith to sign him...

If only Chad Johnson were 3 or 4 years younger. I just don't think he has anything left but I could be wrong.

Video there inside the link also.

Chad Johnson would like to get back in the NFL with the Texans, or with anybody, really

Chad Johnson, the former Ochocinco, is trying very, very hard to get back in the NFL game. And although he's 35 years old, ancient in wide-receiver years, he's still a six-time Pro Bowler, and believes he has something to contribute to an NFL team. Let's hear him out, shall we?

"I would love to get a second chance to play the game that I love," Johnson recently told Comcast SportsNet Houston. He acknowledged that his off-field issues, including an arrest for domestic battery last year, have severely dented his prospects. He hasn't played since being cut by the Dolphins prior to the 2012 season. Still, he hopes he has something to offer:

"I'm in no position to be picky," he said. "There are not very many people who get second chances. I think I've been good to the NFL and for the NFL ... at this point, I've learned my lesson and tried to right all my wrongs. I am human."

Since he was in Houston making the comments, he zeroed in on the Texans. Houston wide receiver Andre Johnson was a former high school rival and opponent of Chad Johnson's. While Andre Johnson has said he'd speak on Ocho's behalf to the Texans management, it's going to be very difficult for Chad Johnson to persuade an NFL team to take a chance on him, both because of talent and because of baggage. But there's always hope.

Texans are still in contract negotiations with Ed Reed. This is driving me crazy. The longer he takes the more uncertainty I feel.

No but for real, all Texans can blame you if he signs elsewhere right? Just like how you caused the 49'ers to lose the Super Bowl </3

You'll get him, the Ravens aren't going to match the kind of deal Reed expects.
We've already let go of so many players, it's time to start the rebuild ASAP while we still have Flacco, Ngata, Suggs, Rice, etc. locked up

I just don't think Reed wants to leave Baltimore, but he'll have to if he wants that kind of money for a 2 year deal.
