Good article about day 1 of practice. SJax got in a little scuffle with Vontaze Burfict.. where SJax was called down but continued to trot to the endzone, Burfict got in his way so SJax stiff armed him off the ground and back a few yards.. got in each others face etc..

Today is the day fellas. We get to see the dirty birds in action, and get a look at what depth we lack.

Headed to the dome right now to see what's going on... After I will post my thoughts which should be taken for a grain of salt haha. Hope we get some good surprises.

After the first quarter:

Osi looked good; he got some pressure a couple times.
Corners looked good, need to tackle better.
The right side of our line... we're fucked, sjax could not get any lanes open... at all.

Alford looked like a starter... Tru did OKAY... Not as good as Alford however. Mass did great IMHO sack and lots of pressure would of had another sack if he had not fell after he beat the guy. Ummm Osi got good pressure the worrlow guy had a rough start but did great for the rest of the game.. Bartu showed some flashes and Brian banks looked good as well read a couple plays but missed a tackle. Maponga did okay as well. Babs and Peter seemed okay with the 1st string but due to limited snaps I didn't see much. O and Davis and hd seemed good.

Well the bad news... Our back ups suckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk bad. Lol. Other than the guys I named no one else really showed out... Holmes..... Got beat about 3-4 times.. DD was running for his life it seemed. When we ran the ball with sjax to test the right side it failed haha. Only real drive we had was when we moved him out of the pocket so that we could have some more time to throw... That being said Dd made bad decision a lot tonight. Should have thrown the ball away when he was headed for the sidelines but forced it. Snelling looked good....

Biggest worry as of now rt. someone needs to step up. If this continues I hope we pick some new bodies up.... Positions that may happen in... Rt, safeties, defensive tackles. From this game alone these seem to be our biggest holes depth wise. Thoughts and differing opinions are welcomed. All this being said Holmes did have flashes... Hopefully he can improve and become our rt but as of now he is my biggest concern.

Btw, when you go the the games... Tell your lady to leave her purse. The only allow clear bags in the dome now. If she does bring it.. The will make you exchange it for a clear bag which you will then have to turn back in after the game or you won't get her purse back haha just a warning.
