been drafting young defensive players for the front 7 for the last 3+ drafts. last 2 first round picks were edge rushers and i am terrified to check what their stats are. the definition of insanity is to do the same thing repeatedly and expect different results...i.e. packers draft strategy

I feel ya. It's also risky taking on veterans though, can be high risk with no reward. Especially if they want a decent contract to come aboard. I didn't realize it had been 3+ drafts of that shit though, it might be time to take some risks somewhere else if it's really been that bad of a drought for you guys.

2009 and 2010 were good years for drafting D. the drafts havent been shit... except for the defensive picks in the front 7... secondary will always find someone to step up it seems but goddamn it all if we can't generate consistent pressure without having to blitz all the time
