Giants vs. Lions injury report: Who didn't make the trip?

EAST RUTHERFORD -- The Giants have a ton of questions heading into their season opener, but for the most part, they can't complain about injuries.

Outside of the obvious, first-round pick Odell Beckham, the Giants only had two other players not make the trip: Defensive tackle Markus Kuhn (ankle) and offensive lineman James Brewer (back).

Brandon Mosley (back) will make the trip after practicing on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Charles Brown (shoulder) will also be on the sidelines.

Basically, this means there were no last-minute changes to Saturday's injury report.

The good news is that the Giants will have Mosley as a backup and won't have to climb too far down the depth chart if something happens at guard or center. Though the offensive line needs work, they're versatile at the moment and against the Lions, they might need some of that depth.

Great news.... sucks about Beckham but we can do without him this week.... hope to get him back practicing so he can play next week

I might give the O-line a pass tonight. Not sure what we have or don't have with them just yet. But they looked bad against an outstanding Detroit pass rush.

No play makers.
No protection.
New offense.

Indeed but I'm not too worried, I mean Lions Dline is actually beast. We'll have to see how we do week 2.

So Eli went back to "I'll try to carry this team mode" but special teams and his receivers said "not on my watch"

Offense doesn't click first game..... second game it looks a lot better and the ST plays atrocious.... just completely shit the bed and Cruz was atrocious.

If it's not the O-line it's the receivers, if it's not the receivers it's the RB, if it's not the RB it's the ST.......

Just can't win.........

Randle steps up HUGE today and that has that HUGE drop on 3rd down in the 4th Q and just absolutely killed us.
