If the team possessing the ball fumbles out of the endzone, it goes to the other team. But if it's out of the endzone, he would of had possession going into the endzone, making it a TD. If it was before the endzone, it's there ball on the 1 or .5 or w/e. Either way, it was a bad fucking call. I get what they're saying, but it's idiotic.

It should have been a TD or their ball on the 1. No other option there. He can't fumble out of the endzone on a run if he didn't have possession at the point it was a td there.

The thought process was he fumbled it out of the end zone which is a touchback. But idk what angles they got that verified the fumble. Call on the field was a td, no way it could be overturned. Just because he’s corralling the ball that was momentarily knocked loose, but still in his possession I might add, doesn’t mean it was a fumble.

I get the rule but he had the ball in the end zone. I'm just dumbfounded by it.
