O its real. And he will be. We had such a hard time getting pressure on qbs last year. He wont be asked to play as much as he did on the bears. He can play in rotation at olb or de for us. He brings a veteran presence that some of our guys need. Imagine what peppers will teach datone jones. This is a big deal.

A 34 year old player in full decline isn't worth 10m/year if you're planning on giving him limited snaps. Sure in three years we might look back and say this was a great move, but at this time, it's a bad deal.

I wonder why the Packers didn't go for Ware? Ware's younger/best suited for a 3-4 and sorta same deal lol

huge difference in guaranteed money... 20 mil for ware and 7.5 for peppers but i agree would of been a lot nicer than peppers

I agree he's not worth anywhere near that amount, but I guess that was money we weren't using this year anyways, and he can easily be cut with that low guaranteed figure and not put us in any sort of cap bind whatsoever. Fingers crossed for one good year out of him.

would be nice to get 2-3 good years out of him, I'm hoping he makes datone jones better.

peppers brings great leadership and hustle play. The power just wasn't there anymore though.
