Don't believe anything this time of the year unless there's ink on paper.

Rofl, this kid's frantically grasping at straws to maintain any shred of hope his team doesn't withdraw from the Haskins sweepstakes and settle for a turd sandwich in Foles πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

If they sign garbage ass Foles, that'll just guarantee us to be in the running for Trevor Lawrence in 2 years.

Your defense is too good to be the #1 overall pick. Same problem the Ravens had when their defense was elite from like 00-07 but they were in QB purgatory from always drafting in the middle of the first round.

Even if they sign Foles, I still think they're in play for Haskins. They can't honestly believe that Foles is the future of this team and I don't see them giving him a big pay day. He'd be nothing more than a bridge QB for a year, or two.

One thing this front office does is set a limit on what they think a FA is worth and wont waiver on it. They let Allen Robinson, a true play maker walk because they weren't willing to go above their set price. They let the Giants have Olivier Vernon a few seasons ago because of the same reason. They aren't going to get into a bidding war with other teams and over pay.

Foles is a good plug for a year or two though, allowing any drafted talent to be ready

It does shock me that so many folks are practically confirming a Foles/JAX deal. This team doesn’t work like that... of course it could happen but we do not know that until pen meets paper.

Exactly.

Like I said.

This front office can't possibly be brain dead enough to sign Foles, because there's without a doubt going to be tampering charges filed if we do.

All this has to be false info from Foles camp to try and drum up interest for him.

Kansas City will forfeit its third-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft and its sixth-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft and pay a fine of $250,000. In addition, Head Coach Andy Reid has been fined $75,000 and General Manager John Dorsey has been fined $25,000.

That's what the Chiefs gave up for tampering when they signed Maclin in 2015..

Just a guess but, I doubt jags will have either of them when season starts.
I think they will fill in a few other holes first.

they just need a game manager, not a hall of fame qb...
