He had some good years and some really bad years with Green Bay.

Congratulations on the hire.

Maybe after he gets fired they can also bring aboard Dean Pees for more help with the 2-minute defense.

It's a whatever hire really, he's just an assistant. Wash is still running the Def, so I doubt much will change as far as scheme goes. Capers brings a shit load of experience and knowledge to that Defensive coaches room though and that never hurts.

He was the DC here for one season, 1999-2000. Coughlin was still the HC at that time and this screams Coughlin hire.

There was talk of him joining this team weeks ago, but he had some interviews for open DC jobs.

How much have you been keeping up /w prospects?

For like the past 2-3 years I've gone into the draft knowing less than I did the year before about prospects/film.

The deletion of the Ravens official team site's forum board probably contributed to that for me—it was a great place for fans to discuss prospects, since they had some really knowledgeable people there. Walterfootball's forum also went to shit (their actual forum; not the comments section), and their mock drafters tend to abide by a strict hive-mind that groups everything more or less the same while scorning anyone who does anything different. Now all I check is reddit/nfl_draft, which is decent, but I don't read it consistently (i'm kind of too out of the loop to understand who they're talking about lol)

That's kind of the same for me. I seem to follow it a little bit less each season. I'll get into it quite a bit more over the next month+ though.

We had the same issue with the Jags deleting their team sites official forum board as well. Luckily the mods we're given a short notice that the forum was shutting down and some of them, as well as some OGs started up a new Jags forum. The old forum hosts were cool enough to work with them and they were able to transfer most of our accounts/info/post count/threads etc etc. over to the new forum. Otherwise we'd be without an "official" team forum as well.

Are there any like videos you watch besides Draftbreakdown (or did they shut down?).

I remember watching Voch Lombardi and liking what he did /w his analysis.

Draftbreakdown shut down awhile back. There's still people who do cut-ups though.

Caddy to the Lama has a bunch of game cut-ups on his youtube. - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_TZk1VH5YZ1lb5Tn3Y6kjw/videos

This guy is good. Lots of info on prospects etc. and he does podcasts as well if you're into that kind of thing. - https://twitter.com/JReidNFL

This guy has cut-ups on his youtube and bunch of other info as well. His youtube etc. are pinned at the top. - https://twitter.com/WhatsOnDraftNFL

Bunch more stuff out there on twitter, but the above were just a couple of guys off the top of my head.

Dareus was due a $2M roster bonus by March 15 and a non-guaranteed base salary of $8.335M. Under his new deal, he gets a $5M bonus up front and the final year of his deal was eliminated. He’s now under contract through 2020.

B) Campbell should be next.

Jaguars GM Dave Caldwell said NT Marcell Dareus came to the team and told them he wanted to restructure his contract because he wanted to stay in Jacksonville.

Dwayne Haskins says he met with the #Jaguars, Raiders and Saints and did work on the board to show his understanding of an offense.

QB Dwayne Haskins said his meeting with #Jaguars front office chief Tom Coughlin involved a lot of questions about his ability as a leader. Felt it went “great.”
