Sapp ws not 340+ he was smaller at around barely 300 lbs becausehis particular position same as mccoy is to get in the backfield and they need to be smaller with quickness.
As for lb`s the reason no one is talking about them is because we only need a slb and he doesnt play on the field as much as the others so the bucs could go in camp with the 3 guys they have adam heyward, dekoda watson, and luis castillo and let them battle it out for the position. No doubt bucs culd use a new lb to fill in where quincy was but its not a hue priority.
Regan Upshaw. Picked him up from the Raiders the year before Gruden came in. lol I only remember that cause my one teacher was a raiders fan, and was pissed about losing him that year. hehe
neways, yeah our front guys did a good job last year, but just couldn't get "past" the OLine as much as we needed. Now preventing nething from getting through, that's a different story. With all the help they are gonna get on the back end this year, I'm suspecting that will change without a great deal of difficulty in regards to picking up new players, either through FA or the draft.
I don't really know much about Goldson, aside from the press he got for heading to TB. I'm hoping for the lack of ever really hearing Barron's name called last season just meant that he didn't let shit get past him, or near him for that matter... I"m kinda hoping he develops into a Lynch/Polamalu type guy. I like a safety that can get up on the line and make plays too.
