Probably wouldn't go as much as other teams. If he turned down a big deal to stay in Buffalo, he knows he's got plenty of options.

Too old to be honest, and he plays a DE spot strictly. Can't see him being a run stopper. Dude's a boss in a 4-3 DE tho, mad respect for him. He'll do somebody good for a couple more years.

teams running against us, especially early in the year, was not the issue. in fact, it was the exact opposite. we played great against the run in spite of still having an unhealthy defense. a consistent pass rush is something we've been missing since the SB season. who's to rule out that Capers doesn't go back to the 4-3? Allen willl be 32 come football time but it's always nice to toy with these thoughts in the offseason

You're talking about a Hall of Fame player and number two on the all time sack list. Allen is a stud, but that's a bad comparison. The game is also getting younger. I wouldn't expect GB to give him the contract length he'll be looking for.
