So basically lets look forward to another 600+ passes this season for Stafford too? Best will be out by week 4, and the other guys just plain suck. We will try to run every first down and give the offense a 2nd a 12 or 13 to try to convert just like last year. Awesome.

The kid was never drafted too be our featured back. He'll be the best third down back in the NFL this season.

That's because he is not a feature back which is what we need to open up the rest of the offense. Best can only run outside, hes not a power runner by any means and as soon as he takes a few good licks, we will be seeing him getting an mri and out for rest of season again. The lions have failed at a running game for years, and I don't see it changing anytime soon. Best 3rd down back in the NFL this season? LMAO I hope you are right, but you are not.

You know what a third down back is? If it's 3rd and 4th your not running it up the middle lol! You're swing passing or stretch running.

He can't run up the middle, at all. And if we are counting on him for 4th downs , ffs I see a losing season ahead. Guy is washed up, hes fast, but thats it. He doesn't break tackles, he just runs fast up the sidelines. He will be retired after this season when he gets another concussion, then we have 2 shitty backs that cant run out of a paper bag just like last year.
