We had no pressure last year, but we had a competent secondary. Now this combination of no pressure+a confused secondary is showing everyone how fucking volatile of a mix that can be, even with an elite team like us. Just painful and every single week has been hard to watch. At least we're not getting blown out by anyone. We're in every single game up until the end and we just need to get a little bit better and we'll be back to being contenders. What scares me is that with how bad we are always, what happens if we have even a couple of injuries on defense or what happens when our offense has a bad day.. we need the other side to at least do fucking something
You just hit the nail on the head. So much miscommunication. I saw one snap today where the secondary were still motioning at eachother and looked confused right up til Cam snapped the ball. Its not like we have bad players back there, far from it, just need to start playing like a unit.
