both the latest mocks have us picking players in the secondary.

Kiper has Louisville's Pryor becoming a Packer. The initial rationale sounds a fucking lot like what he said about datone before the draft. guy describes him like a Collins-esque player but I don't know enough about him to argue otherwise.

McShay has Justin Gilbert falling to us... which i don't really see happening. But then again, this draft is fucking loaded with talent. No matter what, a strong player for the secondary will be available, whether it be a CB or S.

hopefully find value in the next round for a quality TE to replace JeBrickhands Finley

Funny you mention TE. I didn't have time to read the article, but apparently Finley said yesterday that he'd like to finish his career with GB. I wouldn't be against another two year deal if he dropped his asking price.

Meh I wouldn't mind taking a TE in the 3rd or 4th even, def is more important to take care of right now imo

of course. i imagine TT will find value later on after addressing the most pressing needs. he always does

via twitter or was this an interview? sounds great in theory, but i'd like to see him back up his words with action. like i said before, idk how he can realistically ask for a big deal in his position. would still be nice to find a strong blocking TE either way in the draft

Via his agent in an article on NFL.com. Actually reading the article now, seems like a PR statement. tl;dr wats to play in GB without a paycut

Yeah NN pay him what he wants, make him take a cut if he wants to stay around. But I don't want to draft a TE too early, we have enough weapons with our receivers to make up for a lesser quality TE, much more important to get some help on D.

Agreed. I can't imagine there will be that much interest in him.

As for the draft, the only TE at this point that look to be 1st rounders would be Ebron and Amaro, and I hope and don't think we will use a first on a TE. They will 100% be gone by our 2nd pick. As it looks now, there is a tiny chance ASF makes it to us in round 2, and that is the only situation where I'd see us taking a TE in the first 2 rounds.

Ideally, Finley would be okay, find little interest as a free agent, and be signed to a reasonable deal to stay with us. Could use a 4th or 5th for TE depth if desired. Fiedo, Jensen, Lynch, Rodgers, w/e.

Projections for compensatory picks have the Packers getting two. A third for Jennings and a sixth for Walden.

3rd for Jennings would be sick. Was expecting a 4th.
