Shields confirmed as a concussion by McCarthy today. He has to go through the league mandated tests before he's cleared for this week, but he'll hopefully be able to do that since it wasn't immediately announced as a concussion. (Hoping it's a minor one.)

Neal has 0 chance of returning this week. Earliest he'll come back to practice is Halloween since McCarthy doesn't practice on the bye week.

Ponder named starter for the Vikings. Worries me a bit. Just don't know what you're getting here. I don't expect much from him, but I didn't expect Cam Newton to do what he did either.

I really hope the rush defense we see on Sunday is the one that showed up in Atlanta and shut down Turner and not the one that gave up 100 yards to SJax behind a pathetic Rams' line.

I didn't include them because I don't know if they'll have Gates/how healthy he'll be, and I can't see the Packers losing off the bye week. Chargers also have 2 road games coming off their bye before they play the Packers.

With that team, you never know. One week they show up and look great, the next week the chargers look like crap or barely squeek by.
