Not sure why the NFL scheduled the AFC title game preview so early this season

right? it's ok though, nothing wrong with an early preview to what will probably be the greatest AFC title game in NFL history.

Yeah I was just talking about this with buddies at work. Carr has basically won us our 4 games this year with his play. Without him, we'd pretty much be 0-5. That said, you don't want to take the ball out of his hands after a bad first half or a bad three quarters, but at what point -- when you NEED to convert -- do you stop relying on the passing game when it clearly wasn't clicking today and start trusting the running game, which had been working today. Frustrating, but I understand Musgrave's logic. Hindsight 20/20. If Carr had led a quick TD drive (before the fumble) and we got a stop and had a final drive in to tie it up in the last minute, we would be praising Musgrave for sticking with the air it out gameplan.

Anyways we need a good LB so badly. Mack and Irvin should not be considered LB's because they really aren't, in our system. Heeney/James/Smith/Perry are not cutting it. Period. This should be our #1 need this offseason

Goodell wants 2. He will get 2.

Yeah I think my need list for the past 2 offseasons has included ILB/coverage LB as being our #3 (2 years back) and #2 (last year) need. Behind S/CB and then S. We're getting gashed by RBs and TEs, although with the players we have, this could very easily be a scheme issue.

Hopefully. Although Washington ran quite well against a good Chiefs defense...if we just turn our brains on and let him do some of the work he's apparently capable of doing, Murray being out won't be as crippling.
