How come I see bets for Eagles Over or Eagles Under, what does that mean?
Over/ under means Over the total points scored or under the total points scored
So “eagles over”means you are betting the Eagles game to be a combined score of 49 or higher (current spread is 48.5)
“Eagles under” means you are betting the combined score of the eagles game is 48 or less points total
The “6” is the “spread”. That means the below (keep in mind spreads move all the time up until game time, current spread for vikes philly is -6.5
So you’ll see a “-6.5” and a “+6.5” for spread
-6.5 means the team is a “favorite” so the spread is Eagles -6.5.
This means if you take the Eagles -6.5 take the final score and subtract the spread (6.5). Basically if the eagles win by 7 or more points, the eagles win the spread bet
Same for the opposite. Add +6.5 points if you pick the vikings to their final score and see if they win. Aka the need to either lose by 6 or few points or just flat out win the game
