Honestly I wouldn't have cared that much if we had drafted him. Teams are drafting him to play football and not to be a honor citizen.

He paid somewhat of his due and if he makes another mistake like this then it's a different story.

I'd be ashamed to have someone like him on my team. He'd be someone I can't really root for because he's a scumbag. Same with Greg Hardy, Junior Galette, and other guys who don't seem at all apologetic or reformed. Yeah, my team would be doing well, but I wouldn't be happy that that particular player is a part of it.

But you could just take the isolated football perspective if you want. That's what most fans do. At the end of the day, if it's not going to hurt the team financially, there's little reason not to sign the Hardys, Galettes, and Mixons of the world, at least if you're a businessman trying to produce a successful product.

this looks like a line straight out of one of those young adult novels designed to teach kids their SAT words. You can tell by the superfluous details, which operate to teach young readers new words by pairing them with ones they already know. Sure, it's a funny way of writing, but it helps them learn new words, which should be encouraged.
