No doubt, but he was a shitty person. Reminds me of Dez a lot, loaded with talent but that attitude
I realize he wasn't the best role model etc but that should only matter if they're borderline hall of fame. This dude is unquestionably an all time great and no doubt should be first ballot.
I'd rather play with him... Some guy who wants to win more than anything, a workout warrior who always shows up in shape and ready to play -- he's probably still in playing shape -- than someone like plaxico burress who had all the talent in the world but was lazy, never practiced, never got reps in with his qb (amazing how talented he was), wasn't a leader for the younger receivers, and also a knucklehead. Yes, TO was a drama queen but why should that keep someone with his numbers out of the hall of fame?
Side note: TO is one of my favorite players of all-time even though he played against two of the redskins rival teams. Also would like to add he seemed to mature when he played for the bills and bengals as he wasn't a head case there. Even though he wasn't kept he stayed quiet and was productive.
