Whenever I do trades I try and get within 200 points of the picks and then call it good.

Damn, it would cost roughly a 3rd round pick (150 pts) to move from #17 to #14... Even with the market favoring the trading-up team, that's a little steep... I think it would realistically cost less than that projection though, especially if Aaron Donald is gone for the Berz.

But Ozzie almost never trades up, so idk why I'm even dreaming about it...

Yeah that's just a general idea. Like I said, anywhere within 200 points and I think it's fair. I've looked at some if the trades from the past (Julio, RG3, etc) and they usually seem surprisingly fair from that chart. Just have to assume that at the time, all future picks weren't expected to be top 10. I usually put future picks value around pick 14-17 for whatever round.

No clue.  Someone posted that gif forever ago on here (I think it was Mark, maybe Mike) and I saved it on my tinypic and there it is.

You know, you guys keep saying *list of players* or trade down.  What if no one wants to trade up?  It's very very realistic to think that if ATL moves up for Clowney, Jacksonville takes Mack and Cleveland takes Watkins.  What then?  Matthews or Robinson?  I've only heard complaints about those picks as options too.

Everyone wants to trade down in this draft except for the Falcons, Niners and Eagles.  Niners won't realistically jump into the top 5 or 10 even.  Falcons want Clowney and Eagles want Evans so they don't need to trade up with you.  What then?  Carr won't be there in round 2.  Teddy and Manziel are falling fast.  Who do you pick?  OL after all the signings?  Or a great QB prospect (regardless of any personal feelings, he is a great prospect) that would be perfect to sit behind Schaub for a year?

There isn't a QB worth a top 5 (maybe even top 10) pick this year (except for Garoppogod of course) but QBs are QBs and 3 of them will likely go top 10.  If the Raiders drafted Carr at 5, I'd praise the pick, not hate on it.

Looking at it without the trade I'd say after those 3 try for Jake Matthews.

Yea we got Penn but Matthews seems like a safe pick. Our line still needs work. I just don't see Carr going in the first round over manziel Bridgewater and possibly bortles (I think that's his name. Blake bortles or some shit. )

I'm thinking of doing a few other things before the draft. Sleeper list, a serpentine draft and maybe a team by team best care scenario for the first 3 rounds. Any other ideas?

That sounds nice

Or like thinking of realistic potential trades

I hate trades, they're so hard to predict lol, but that is another I was considering.

Sleeper list would be cool.

That's not a bad idea. Basically a wish-list for each pick.

If you recall, I haven't been all that impressed by Teddy from the get go. He hasn't shown me anything to change that opinion.

Then you must think all of the other QBs are complete garbage because his game tape doesn't lie B)

Teddy could only go down in peoples minds. I think there's too much paralysis by analysis on him. When you spend at least a year 1/2 as the top QB/top prospect in the Country, where can you only go but down?
