Player Name ------ Rec ------- Yds ------- Yds/Rec ---- Long ------- TD
Mike Wallace ----------- 22 ----------- 507 ----------- 23.0 ----------- 53 ----------- 5
Brandon Lloyd --------- 42 ----------- 878 ----------- 20.9 ----------- 71 ----------- 4
Randy Moss ----------- 69 ----------- 1313 ----------- 19.0 ----------- 61 --------- 17 ( Rookie Year )
Randy Moss ----------- 83 ----------- 1264 ----------- 15.2 ----------- 71 --------- 13 ( Last Year )
Hakeem Nicks --------- 51 ----------- 653 ----------- 12.8 ----------- 46 ----------- 9
► Nicks is not comparable. More TD's but really not a consistent deep threat.
► Wallace has the highest YPC with the fewest number of touches so far, but half of his season was limited by a shoddy QB.
► None of these WR's have proven to be better than Moss at this point in their careers.
Naturally, as receptions increase, YPC tends to go down. Wallace, imo, is faster than Lloyd or Nicks ( no homer ), so who knows, his YPC may actually increase. Imo, dont compare them until all receivers have atleast 50 touches ( or better yet, after season is over ).
wallace is the fastest player in the nfl hands down no doubt about it and that isn't homering at all. ike taylor has the same speed coach as deion did and as cj2k has now, he said ike is the fastest player he has coached, and ike admitted the only one he can't keep up with is wallace.
also, can't forget that wallace had batch and dixon throwing to him for 4 games to start the year. if ben is there he has more catches, more yards, and more td's. with ben back he has a td in 3 of 4 games.
