It looked to me like he had possession before he hit the ground, it should’ve been the end of the play when he went down. I don’t really care to argue about it, but it was a questionable call
Impossible tho, the process of the catch starts with him in the air, he needs to make a few steps prior / survive the ground to consider it.
Think about it like this, if the db isn't there to strip it, cooks knees hit ground but on the way to the ground the Ball moves or he drops it, it wouldn't be a catch aka he doesn't survive the ground. The db stripping the ball from him is considered him not surviving the ground just as if the ball comes lose on the way tk the ground.
