i'm not joking. I genuinely want to know why white people are drawn to black rappers, is the lyrics? beat? trying to fit into a crowd? If music isn't somewhat limited to "race creed or color", why don't i see more black people at Metal shows I go to? (I do live in a really white state but still lol).

i can name white rappers that are just as good as black rappers if not better

eyedea (rip), eminem, brother ali (he's albino so might not count), prof, ra the rugged man, even macklemore (albeit his radio songs are shit) can spit and has great songs

like everything in life, you have to look around for the stuff you like, if you listen to what other people send or do then you'll never find what is quality for you

Ur putting too much thought into this randall, it probably doesn't even cross most ppls minds what the ethnicity/background is of the musical artists they listen to
like most human endeavors, it's hedonistic
ppl listen to music they like, it can evoke a particular emotion or they just like the way it sounds

Its definitely not for everyone for sure.

Honestly, I cant stand Lil Wayne or anyone with Lil besides their name (Lil Dicky is an exception. He's hilarious.)

I like the gory lyrics and gutteral screams, (yes, some are nonsensical, but I don't really listen to metal for the lyrics usually, rare exception being bands like Cattle Decapitation, they have hilarious lyrics that at the same time send a message)
I like the face melting guitar solos
I like the heart-pounding insanely fast BPM/tempos
I like the odd time signatures
I like the use of obscure, dissonant scales and modes

see, I can give concrete, musical explanation of why I like it. Yet people who like rap are just like "I like it cuz reasons".

also, I only listen to metal like 25% of the time or less. I like a lot of other genres.
