Yes, there are probably little to none who think cocaine is less dangerous than marijuana for recreational use, but what we think is irrelevant; my point was the policy makers, in this case the FDA/DEA, currently think cocaine is less dangerous than marijuana which is really all that matters.

And this is not true, it's (the control substance act) been amended 9 times since it was signed into law by Nixon, most recently amended in 2010. It needs to be amended again to remove marijuana from schedule 1.

Marijuana I feel like will still be stigmatized as being a drug for the next 15 years. I don't smoke personally but for what it does to your body, mentally, etc its a lot less harmful than many drugs, alcohol etc.
