Oh wow.. I was sad to see Manningham go, I'll be happy to get him back. :D

I guess they would be decent depth and good lockerroom guys. I just don't know if we can go with a corps of Cruz, Randle, Rio, Jernigan

Not sure if Randle can be a #1 right now... I think potentially he can next year.

Maybe Cruz would lineup outside at times.

The thing about McAdoo is he's expected to use a lot of 3 and 4 WR sets which is music to my ears.

Randle(X)............Cruz(Z/slot).........Manningham(Z).........Jernigan(slot when he got 4 wide)

Our only X receiver would be Randle a 3nd year guy.(essentially 2nd)

Manningham definitely gives us flexibility.

Jermichael Finley has drawn interest from the Giants

@BenVolin: I'm told that TE Jermichael Finley, still not medically cleared, has drawn interest from the Jets, Chiefs, Seahawks, Giants and Steelers

Giants announce LB Mark Herzlich re-signs with the team. Was slated to be a restricted free agent.

Happy for him he just never panned out after returning from cancer :(

He's a good ST player, serviceable backup and a good character guy... vet minimum deal, can be cut

All is relatively quiet on the Giants front

Umenyiora-Giants' Reunion Possible If Pass Rusher Becomes Available

Quote
Osi Umenyiora’s current team wants him to take a pay cut before returning next season. But if things don’t work out and the Falcons cut him, the 32-year-old pass rusher wouldn’t mind a return to the team with which he won two Super Bowls.

And the feeling might be mutual.

Umenyiora would entertain an offer to return to the Giants -- and the Giants would at least investigate -- if his situation in Atlanta came to an end, according to two people familiar with the situation. The people requested anonymity in order to speak freely on the matter.

The former second-round pick, who registered 7½ sacks in 2013, is due $3.5 million next season.

Umenyiora was described by one rival executive as the missing piece in the Giants lackluster pass rush this season. Despite the team’s push to get younger and quicker along their defensive front, Umenyiora could be a great value option for a defensive line that could see some major changes.

Justin Tuck and Linval Joseph are both expected to hit free agency on Tuesday.

Huh.. I'm not sure how I should feel about that.

How did he do at falcons last year? I can't recall.
