There are illegals doing electrical work... a lot of non union contractors hire them and teach them basic shit work and pay absolutely nothing.

I have yet to see one, most of them are blue collar white dudes or Asians around here, I’ll take your word for it though .



Pretty sure 99% of these jobs people are complaining about losing are line cook and landscaping jobs

That's shitty, electrical isn't one of those trades you can do without training. Around here it's mostly sheet rockers, insulators, and roofers

Same here and now they are even trying to get into exterior work doing James Hardy and wood/vinyl siding/windows. It looks shitty when they are done, but they charge $25-40 a square when I get $100-150. Thankfully they fuck shit up and my son and I make $50/hr fixing it.

Well I’m in jersey so maybe it’s only here but their work is just atrocious and it’s not a knock on them. They get paid pretty good but the training is a joke if there is any.

Trust me I agree but like sheriff just said they mess up and the people usually call the “expensive guys” that they originally turned down. I’m a lineman so my training with residential is minuscule compared to the inside guys but it’s still imo far more than these guys
