I think its closer to $50b from what i just read, but i'm not sure the specifics on how much illegals contribute to the whole U.S. economy (that $12b figure was just state/local contributions). My point was just simply illegal immigrants somewhat contribute to states' economies and the U.s. economy. There are other ways to do border security without a physical wall across the whole border costing U.S. taxpayers potentially $25b, it's not fair especially to the northern states who dont give two craps about the wall.
